About Tile Link

Tile Link is an original browser matching puzzle built around crisp 2D pixel symbols rather than character art. Every board is filled with pairs from an eight-symbol pixel set. Select two identical tiles and the game checks whether a route can join them with no more than two turns. The route may travel along empty cells and may leave the board to loop around the outside, but it can never pass through another tile. Clear every pair to finish the board and move on to the next grid size. Choose a relaxed Easy 6×8 board, the default 8×10 board, or a dense 10×12 Hard board. Timed mode gives you five minutes; Endless mode removes the clock while still tracking your fastest board clear. Each board is generated with at least one legal pair, and the game reshuffles automatically if you ever reach a dead end.

How to play

  • Tap or click one tile, then tap an identical tile that can be linked.
  • Paths may run straight, turn once, or turn twice. They may use the empty space around the board.
  • Use the arrow keys to move the board cursor, then press Enter or Space to select.
  • P pauses, S shuffles and H shows a hint.
  • Each board starts with three hints. A manual shuffle costs 20 points; an automatic shuffle is free.
  • Clear a board to advance to the next difficulty. There is no level cap.

Scoring and daily boards

Every pair is worth 10 points. Matching again within three seconds builds a combo and adds a small bonus, up to 20 extra points per match. Your best score and fastest board clear are reported to the HappyBiu Shell for local storage. Add ?seed=YYYYMMDD to the page address, or press the Daily button in the game, to replay the same board as everyone else on that date.

Accessibility and privacy

Tile Link runs inside a sandboxed iframe. It does not load third-party scripts, analytics or advertising, and it never asks for personal information. The board is fully keyboard operable, every tile has an accessible label, symbols differ by shape rather than colour alone, and motion is reduced when your device asks for it. The in-game sound follows the Shell's single sound button and starts only after you interact with the page.
